Beginning June 25th, 2021, Sunwing Vacations will begin accepting and processing refund requests from eligible guests whose non-refundable reservations were cancelled due to COVID-19. The deadline to submit a refund request is August 27th, 2021 at 11:59 pm EST. If you wish to keep your Sunwing Vacations travel credit, no action is required. It will be valid for travel until September 30th, 2026.


The revised policy covers reservations cancelled by Sunwing Vacations or by customers. Your reservation is eligible for a refund request if:
  • Your non-refundable reservation was made on or before June 25, 2021 for travel scheduled on or after February 1, 2020.
  • You made your reservation directly with Sunwing Vacations or a travel agent
  • Your vacation was cancelled due to COVID-19 and you received a subsequent travel credit, or you chose to use your No Worry Protection Plan and received travel vouchers.
  • You did not submit an application to your insurance company
  • You have not made a chargeback request or received a refund through your credit card provider
  • The travel credit has not been transferred to a person not listed on the reservation
