RANDOM COVID-19 TESTING IN MAJOR CANADIAN AIRPORTS
As of July 19, random testing for fully vaccinated travellers will resume at Canada's four major international airports: Montreal-Trudeau (YUL), Toronto-Pearson (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR) and Calgary (YYC).
The tests will not be done directly at the airports, but at a pharmacy or during a virtual appointment with a health professional using a self-test.
Selected air travellers will receive an email notification within 15 minutes of clearing customs. They will have access to instructions on how to complete the test in their respective region.
If the test result is positive, the traveler will be required to isolate him/herself for 10 days from the date of receipt of the test result, in accordance with federal requirements.
