About the destination

Costa Rica is a great destination for eco-tourism. Whether you want to explore the rainforest that dominates the country or simply enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches, you will certainly experience a dream vacation in Costa Rica.

The official currency of Costa Rica is the Costa Rican Colon (CRC). U.S. currency and credit and debit cards are also accepted in tourist centers. However, if you plan to use your cards at your destination, be sure to inform your financial institution of the dates of your stay in Costa Rica.
