The official currency of Indonesia is the Indonesian rupiah (IDR). If you plan to use your cards at your destination, be sure to inform your financial institution of the dates of your stay. Also, note that not all tourist sites and businesses will accept your cards. It’s best to have some cash on hand!
The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) recommends that you consult a health specialist to discuss vaccinations against the following diseases: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, influenza, Japanese encephalitis, measles and rabies. Yellow fever and polio vaccines are mandatory for travel to Indonesia. Note that two doses of vaccine against Covid-19 are mandatory to fly from Canada.
Your passport must be valid for six months after the date of entry into Indonesia, and must contain at least one blank page for an Indonesian visa or entry stamp.
