Currency

The official currency of the Bahamas is the Bahamian dollar (B$), but the US dollar (USD) is also accepted throughout the country. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in tourist centers. Health

Language

The Bahamas does not have an official language. However, English is the language most used by the population as well as by the authorities. Bahamian Creole is the second most common language.
