About the destination

The Bahamas is an archipelago of over 700 islands in the Caribbean. The most famous island is Paradise Island, because of the Atlantis, the famous hotel that is located there. A stay in the heart of the Caribbean Sea will make you let go!

The official currency of the Bahamas is the Bahamian dollar (B$), but the US dollar (USD) is also accepted throughout the country. Credit and debit cards are also accepted in tourist centers. However, if you plan to use your cards at your destination, be sure to inform your financial institution of the dates of your stay in Curaçao.

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) recommends that you consult a health specialist to discuss vaccinations against the following diseases: hepatitis A and B, measles and yellow fever. Note that two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are required for flights from Canada and for crossing the land border with the United States.

Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay.
