Known for its colorful neighborhoods and blue waters, Aruba has everything to please you! Located in the south of the Caribbean Sea, this small island is barely 30km in size. This piece of paradise on earth will charm both couples and families.

Currency

The official currency of Aruba is the Aruban Guilder (AWG).  Credit and debit cards are accepted in tourist centers. However, if you plan to use your cards at your destination, be sure to inform your financial institution of the dates of your stay.

Health

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) recommends that you consult with a health professional to discuss vaccinations for the following diseases: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, yellow fever, influenza, measles and Zika virus.  Please note that two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are required to fly from Canada and to cross the land border into the United States.

Passports

Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after your scheduled departure date from Aruba.

Language

The two official languages of the country are Dutch and Papiamento. However, the local population speaks more Papiamento and Spanish.
